British royal family news divulges that even if Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, and Prince Harry return to the UK this year for one or more of a spate of royal events, they could still manage to snub his family in a big way. How? By leaving baby Archie at home in America! Would they do that?

Royal Family News – Prince Philip’s 100th Birthday Is Coming Up

Meghan and Harry have a 12-month review of Megxit coming up which they may do virtually. But there are significant family events taking place that they may want to attend such as the Queen’s 95th official birthday and Prince Philip’s 100th birthday in June.

Then there is the unveiling of the late Princess Diana memorial statue on what would have been her 60th birthday in July.

And of course, they don’t need any of these grand reasons to visit family, they could do so just because they love and miss them.

In January 2020 they told the world they no longer wished to be associated with the UK nor the royal family and they made good on that promise, fleeing to a life of excess in California. It has been a long time since Archie has been in the UK, even before that bombshell.

Meghan left Harry to deal with his family alone in order to work out Megxit and Archie was already out of the country.

They both returned in March but again chose to leave Archie in North America and away from his paternal family members.

There is no doubt that his UK fam would love to see the little tyke as it has been over a year since they last saw him in person. Will that happen in 2021? Royal commentator Howard Hodgson thinks it all depends on what Meghan wants. “Meghan will do what she wants,” regardless of what the Royal Family wishes he said.

Sadly the clock is running out for his paternal great grandparents to spend time with Archie.

In The Telegraph, royal watcher Camilla Tominey said, “Some in royal circles have even started to wonder whether the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh will ever see their one-year-old great-grandson Archie again amid the escalating row.”

Let’s hope pettiness does not lead to that.
