British royal family news reveals that some royal watchers are questioning the value of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, Duke Of Sussex featuring their son Archie on their first and only Spotify podcast. Was the babbling baby merely trotted out as “clickbait?”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, as they insist on being called, debuted their only Archewell Audio podcast after Christmas, and in addition to Archie talked to Stacey Abrams, Elton John, Naomi Osaka, James Corden, and Tyler Perry.
Royal Family News – Is Little Baby Archie Merely Clickbait?
Archie turns two in May and listeners heard Meghan ask him, “Archie, is it fun?” before the youngster replies, “fun.”
Harry then tells him, “After me. Ready? Happy.”
Royal writer Duncan Larcombe, author of Prince Harry: The Inside Story, told online chat show The Royal Beat, “Because there is money involved, it isn’t a charitable thing. What a surprise [that] more family silver is out for sale—let’s use Archie as clickbait. Maybe [Harry] is going to be the ‘billion heir royal.'”
Royal Family News – Why Was Archie’s Privacy Exploited?
He added, “A year ago they [Harry and Meghan] were saying they want privacy and to bring their child up in peace—codswallop! We now know what it is. The evidence is there. It was the biggest royal sellout in the history of the family.”
They have actually sued over Archie’s right to privacy through lawsuits in California and London so Larcombe’s criticism has relevance.
He told The Royal Beat, “What Harry and Meghan have done over the past 12 months is sow seeds which will spell potential catastrophe to the royal family.”
“When 50 million people are watching Harry’s chat about organic yogurt or whatever it is that he wants to promote, and 5,000 people are watching his brother, Prince William, the future king, do a royal engagement, opening a supermarket in Hemel Hempstead or whatever, that is when it becomes a problem.”
Royal Family News – Prince Harry Has A Double Standard?
Harry and Meghan seemed to have no issue with featuring Archie as if he were one of the VIP guests they trotted out to sell their show. But demanding one thing and then doing another hasn’t seemed to sit well with royal watchers who have no problem calling out hypocrisy when they see it.
Will Archie be heard on the couple’s next podcast, if there is one? That remains to be seen, and heard, but if it benefits the Markle’s, count on it.
