The inside source stated, “She will continue to bring high-level strategic guidance to Archewell, which she helped launch and build over the course of the past year.”
St-Laurent previously worked at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and she transitioned to her role with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex last April. At that time St-Laurent became the chief of staff as well as executive director of Archewell.
On Monday, it was also announced that James Holt, the Markle’s UK representative was named executive director of Archewell.
Royal Family News – The Markle’s Do Not Like Publicity
The Markle’s have PR machines on two continents yet swear they want to remain private to the media. If that’s true they are spending a lot of money to achieve nothing.
The publicity shy Sussexes said of St-Laurent’s appointment last year, “We are proud to be joined by Catherine St-Laurent in this next chapter with us.”
They went on to say, “Her leadership and proven track record working within two organizations that have tremendous impact in the world — the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Pivotal Ventures make her an incredible asset and we’re excited to have her on our team.”
Royal Family News – The Markle PR Machine Keeps Transitioning
While they were still trying to make it as senior working royals in the UK, the pair lost key members of their staff, including Markle’s personal assistant Melissa Toubati, their private secretary Samantha Cohen and their senior communications officer Amy Pickerill.
Why? The Times of London reported in February that a formal complaint of alleged bullying was lodged against Meghan Markle by a former employee office at Kensington Palace. Ruh roh.
The palace’s human resources department is now looking into the stunning allegation, which Markle has denied and branded a, “calculated smear campaign” to deflect from her tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey.
During that interview both Harry and Meghan complained that his family was guilty of numerous offenses against them.
