British Royal family News says that this has certainly turned into an all-out war. Meghan Markle is now making it no secret that she believes the royal family “threw her to the wolves,” so to speak, by planting negative stories about her to the British press in order to make other members of the royal family look good. Royal Family News: Meghan Markle Claims The Royal Family Was Out To Get Her By Planting Negative Stories In The Press

According to the latest trailer of the Netflix docuseries Harry and Meghan, Meghan’s lawyer Jenny Afia claims that there was a war against the Duchess of Sussex involving the palace and the British media.

That’s because the royal family would often plant negative stories about Meghan whenever one of their own were being reported on.

“There was a real, kind of war against Meghan, and I’ve certainly seen evidence that there was negative briefing from the palace against Harry and Meghan to suit other people’s agendas,” Afia alleges in the trailer.

If that weren’t enough, Meghan’s pal Lucy Fraser also said that the royals were throwing her under the bus as well. She said, “Meg became this scapegoat for the palace. And so they would feed stories on her, whether they were true or not, to avoid other, less favorable stories being printed.”

Royal Family News: What’s Next For The Royal Family?

Meghan herself also added that the royals would purposely try to make her look bad in the press in order to save themselves. She said, “A story about someone in the family would pop up for a minute and they’d go, ‘We gotta make that go away. But there’s real estate on a website homepage. There is real estate there on a newspaper front cover. And something has to be filled in there about something royal.”

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter even though Netflix alleges that they reached out to the palace for comment. Volume 2 of Harry and Meghan drops on Netflix on December 15th.
