British royal family news reveals that questions are being raised about the ongoing Buckingham Palace investigation into claims that Meghan Markle bullied staff before she summarily skipped out on the monarchy.
The revelation that only a few people have been interviewed thus far is concerning to some who think the investigation may fade into the background without resolution.
In March, the same month as the Markle’s reptilian Oprah Winfrey interview, the palace announced that an internal inquiry would be made into claims, “Meghan’s behavior drove two personal assistants out of the household and ‘undermined the confidence’ of a third,” according to the Daily Mail.

According to reports, the staff were driven to tears and felt traumatized by the actions of Princess Pinocchio. The allegations against Meghan were such that the monarchy brought in a third-party law firm to investigate the claims of inappropriate behavior on Meghan’s part. The investigation is being paid for by the family from their own pockets and the situation has been theorized to have the power to further antagonize the already self-aggrieved Harry and Meghan.
Meghan herself has called the investigation a, “calculated smear campaign.”

The Daily Mail reports that, “only a small number of royal employees – both past and present – have actually been spoken to. These are likely to include the two PAs, another staff member and possibly Cabinet Secretary Simon Case, who was then working as Prince William’s private secretary.”
It was Case who was contacted by Kensington Palace’s communications secretary, Jason Knauf, in October 2018; Case reportedly wanted, “protection for the staff he believed were being targeted.”
Before they diched their royal roles the pair likely had some 15-25 employees working for them between 2017 and 2020. Never in the history of the institution has the palace had to deal with an official bullying complaint against.

Royal Family News – Meghan Made History In The Palace
One source told the outlet, “I think they [the Palace] are slightly caught between a rock and a hard place on this…There are obviously serious questions to be asked as to how the original complaints about bullying made against the duchess were handled internally. From what anyone hears, interviews have only taken place with a handful of people. It’s been far from comprehensive.”
