British royal family news reveals that Meghan Markle Duchess of Sussex likes to change things up. For instance, she and Prince Harry came out recently with a second official engagement picture, a re-do of the original. The first wasn’t good enough?

Guess what, she wasn’t satisfied with her engagement ring either, and after the fact made significant changes to it. Should Prince Harry be worried?

Prince Charming proposed in November 2017, but a little over a year later Meghan Thee Duchess showed off a stunningly different version of the original. She took a simple yellow gold band, tossed it out, and in its place was a brand new swanky and more expensive diamond-studded band.

Perhaps responding to criticism of the shallowness of such a move, the blame was quickly placed on Prince Harry. It was HIS decision to upgrade the band they said. Oh and by the way, at the exact same time he bought yet another ring for her, this time for their first wedding anniversary. No word yet as to how she’s altered that ring or ditched it entirely. Should Harry be worried?

Royal Family News – Meghan’s Soul Mate Defends Her Ring Indecision

Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand wrote a gushing bio of the couple, Finding Freedom. In it they go to pains to make a point about Meghan’s ring: “On May 19, 2019, Harry also surprised his wife of one year with the gift of a ring that he had created with jeweller-to-the-stars Lorraine Schwartz, a favourite of Meghan’s.

“The conflict-free diamond eternity band paid homage to the family of three with Meghan’s, Archie’s and Harry’s birthstones (peridot, emerald, and sapphire, respectively) on the underside of the ring.”

The jeweler was actually interviewed for Meghan’s biography and she told the authors that Harry wanted to make the eternity ring “special.” She added, “‘He’s the loveliest person ever. So romantic, so thoughtful.” So pliable.

Harry said during the couple’s first sit-down interview with the BBC, hours after they announced their engagement, “The ring is obviously yellow gold because that’s [Meghan’s] favorite and the main stone itself I sourced from Botswana and the little diamonds either side are from my mother’s jewelry collection, to make sure that she’s with us on this crazy journey together.”
