Royal Family News: Meghan Markle Disses Her Brother And Sister

British royal family news shows that Meghan Markle and her lawyers are now trying to use semantics to smooth over her ludicrous statement about being an “only child.” She has a brother Thomas Jr, and a sister Samantha Markle, the latter of which did not take too kindly to being erased from history.

According to the Daily Mail, Samantha is suing Meghan for allegedly peddling a, “rags to riches tale in her Oprah interview, and also over comments in Finding Freedom, the book penned by Meghan’s close friend Omid Scobie.”

In response, new court documents show that Meghan is trying to wiggle out of her trouble by saying her utterance about her sister not existing was a “feeling” and not a “fact.”

The legal documents were filed in Florida in Meghan and Samantha’s legal situation.

Samantha asserts that, “it was dishonest for Meghan to claim she grew up as an only child.” In response Meghan’s spin team defends her inane comment by asserting that, “it is how she feels despite her technically having two half-siblings.” Is technically having a sibling like kind of being pregnant?

The attorney’s nattered on, “It is hard to imagine a more personal and subjective feeling than how one views their own childhood. Moreover, Plaintiff’s opposition completely ignores the context of the statement, where Ms Winfrey asked Meghan about her relationship with Plaintiff (to whom Ms Winfrey referred as her “half-sister on her father’s side”).”

“Meghan’s response to that question that she “grew up as an only child” was obviously not meant to be a statement of objective fact that she had no genetic siblings or half-siblings.” Well, one says po-tay-toe, the other says po-tah-toe?

But wait, there’s more! “Her lawyers said that Meghan saying she ‘grew up as an only child’ can’t be false because it is a ‘textbook example of a subjective statement about how a person feels about her childhood.” It sounds exactly as if Meghan’s lawyers doth protest too much. For Samantha’s part, she claims that Meghan is on a, “premeditated campaign to destroy,” her and her father’s reputation.

She also claims that Meghan, “lied when she claimed she ‘essentially raised herself from virtual poverty’ and from 13 had to take on low-paying jobs to ‘make ends meet.’” If that’s the case, wouldn’t Child Protective Services have been involved?
