British royal family news reveals that it can now be exposed that Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex actually “ended” her once close relationship with her father Thomas Markle. These are the anguished dad’s own words, a court has heard.
The astonishing news came out in a witness statement submitted to the court by Thomas Markle himself. In it he claimed that her infamous letter, published in the Mail on Sunday, was a “criticism” of him and “signalled the end of our relationship.”

His words are in stark contrast to the claims of Meghan Markle’s friends who said on her behalf that the letter was a “reconciliation” missive.
The letter is at the heart of a lawsuit Meghan Duchess of Sussex brought against the Mail on Sunday. They printed bits of her letter in five articles published in February 2019 and she is suing over privacy copyright and data protection.
Despite what her friends claimed, Meghan Markle’s dad claims her “heartfelt” letter actually “shut” him out and ended their relationship.

According to her friends, Meghan was forced to write a “painful” letter to her dad after they reached a “breaking point.”
In direct contrast to the friends’ claims, Thomas Markle called the letter a “criticism” of him.
The court also heard today that Meghan Markle and her husband Prince Harry told her dad he could risk their privacy if he staged paparazzi shots, something they have often do themselves.

Lawyers for Meghan and Harry contend they asked if he was staging photos, and he said no. The psychic couple then allegedly informed him that any such action could risk the privacy of any children they may end up having.
The Markle’s have frequently engaged in such behavior however. In November they pulled a much criticized PR stunt at LA National Cemetery and they have highly publicized their occasional efforts to help those less fortunate than them.
The High Court also heard today how a group dubbed the ‘Palace Four’, people who used to work for Meghan, could be asked to give evidence if the trial goes forward. This is something Meghan desperately has tried to avoid even though she brought the lawsuit herself. Some royal watchers have said that the only reason for that is a gut hunch that she will ultimately be the loser.
