She has boasted that she was the “most trolled person” in 2019, even though she swears she pays no attention to social media.

Andrew Morton’s book, Meghan Markle: A Hollywood Princess, is sure to add to the headlines as it details how Meghan Thee Duchess ended her first marriage in such a flagrant way that it left her former in-laws stunned by how she dumped her first husband Trevor Engelson.

Meghan and the Hollywood producer were married for two years after a long-term relationship. Meghan filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences and it was reportedly an epic shock to their family and friends, especially Trevor’s parents who had “embraced her like a daughter.”

David and Leslie Engelson were not the only ones who were gobsmacked by Meghan’s actions–Trevor as well as the couple’s friends, were simply stunned.

According to one friend, Trevor went from cherishing Meghan to, “feeling like he was a piece of something stuck to the bottom of her shoe.”

Meghan Markle’s Former In-Law Were Shocked When She Dumped Her First Husband

Meghan’s oldest friend Ninaki Priddy was maid of honor at the wedding and after Trevor told her his side of the story, she apparently no longer wanted to be friends with Meghan.

Ninaki said, “I think Meghan was calculated, very calculated, in the way she handled people and relationships. She is very strategic in the way she cultivates friends.”

“Once she decides you’re not part of her life, she can be very cold. It’s this shutdown mechanism she has. There’s nothing to negotiate, she’s made her decision and that’s it.”

She went on to say, “The way she handled it, Trevor definitely had the rug pulled out from under him. He was hurt.”

According to the book, Meghan also chose to drop her rings into an envelope and trust the US Mail to deliver them to Trevor; um, better than Meghan handing them over at her local pawn shop?
