British royal family news reveals that Meghan Markle’s craven attempts to play politician has both amused and delighted those who wish for more woke comedy to keep them awake in the dreary days of winter. Now someone is cautioning Meghan, in her best interest, avoid the mistake of trying to be a US politician.

As this expert points out, celebs who attempt to make the switch rarely succeed: Kanye for President!

Last September Meghan and her husband Prince Harry startled the nation when they began preaching for people to vote in the upcoming US Presidential election. Not content to let sleeping dogs lay, Meghan then took it upon herself to cold call people and tell them to vote. But wait, there’s more!

Now comes word that the thirsty couple wasted an hour of everyone’s time by chatting up California’s Governor Gavin Newsom; Guess they haven’t heard about the robust recall effort?

About their grandstanding, author Steven Heritage says it is obvious Meghan is drooling at the thought of entering the political stage. But he thinks that would be a major fail: Kanye for President!

Royal Family News – Meghan Markle Was in Suits

Writing in the Times Heritage said: “The idea that Meghan Markle might be entertaining the thought of running for president is starting to feel a little less ridiculous. Five weeks before Megxit, she invited Hillary Clinton to Windsor for a chat. And now it has been revealed that Harry and Meghan recently had a one-hour Zoom meeting with Gavin Newsom, the governor of California.”

In other words, she seems to be on a roll.

Does this mean the B-lister is thinking she’s suitable material for a presidential run? After all, Arnold Schwarzenegger made it to the California Governorship as did President Ronald Reagan. Maybe we should be worried after all?

Maybe not. According to Heritage, “Many, many celebrities before her have attempted to throw their hat into the political ring, but successes have been few and far between.”

That’s not entirely true. Remember Gopher from Love Boat? Wasn’t he a state representative or something?

It remains to be seen if Ms. Markle is really creating a war chest with her Netflix and Spotify money. But members of the Royal Family, of which she marginally remains, are expected to remain politically neutral so at some point it would seem she has to fish or cut bait: Kanye for Vice President!
