Tina Brown’s new book about the Royal Family and its hangers-on, “claims that the Duchess of Sussex wanted ‘leading-lady’ status in the UK,” according to The Sun. Apparently she didn’t get, or did not read, the memo about Queen Elizabeth being the face of the monarchy. Silly girl.
Royal Family News – Meghan Married Harry In 2018
According to the tell-all tome, even after the former game show girl met the naked Vegas pool boy who would eventually become her husband, she was, “hungry for luxury freebies,” and, “thought they needed her more than she needed them.”
In the book, Brown describes how Meghan used her blog named after her favorite wine (gauche or classy?) to lift all she could from others. Her blog, The Tig, “was her way of getting luxury freebies.”
Royal Family News: Meghan Was Known Among Marketers
Brown writes in, The Palace Papers: Inside The House Of Windsor — The Truth And The Turmoil: “She won a reputation among the marketers of luxury brands of being warmly interested in receiving bags of designer swag.”
It was a habit Meghan found hard to break after she married Prince Harry. “A publicist was copied into a message from the Duchess’ team, where Meghan allegedly wrote: “Make sure [the publicist] knows that she can still send me anything. She’s always been one of the good ones.”
Royal Family News – Meghan And Tiara-Gate
Brown also delves into Tiara-Gate, the alleged argument over what tiara, borrowed of course, she would wear to marry Prince Charming. What really happened between Harry, Meghan and Angela Kelly, the Queen’s dresser and assistant?
According to Brown, “Meghan used Her Majesty’s trusted aide like a Hollywood stylist.”
“Meghan did not — or could not — perceive the difference between the Queen’s personal aide and a contract stylist at NBC Universal.” It sounds like Meghan was out of her league and out of her comfort zone in the palace.
To date there is still an ongoing investigation into allegations she “bullied” palace staff, an investigation she has dismissed as a “witch hunt.” Did she just call herself a witch?
