Royal Family News: Meghan Markle Jeered For Bizarre Fashion During NYC Trip

British royal family news teases that Harry and Meghan aka the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are on a whirlwind PR trip, having left their two kids, one just three months old, behind at home. They wasted no time showing off a succession of outfits, visiting the down and out as well as the high and mighty.

But it was Meghan’s fashion choice that stole the show. Why in the world was she so intent on overdressing for a humid NYC fall season? She was regularly bundled up as if on an Arctic expedition.

Meghan wore a long black Armani wool coat, a black turtleneck and long, wide-legged pants as she and Harry met New York Mayor Bill de Blasio and New York Governor Kathy Hochul. It was all a bit much as everyone else was appropriately dressed for a visit to One World Trade Center and the 9/11 Memorial.

Did we mention Meghan changed clothes every chance she got? She next switched into a long-sleeved black turtleneck dress with a camel colored wool coat for a visit to the UN.

Social media had a field day dissecting her extravagantly inappropriate wardrobe. One poster claimed she was dressed “aggressively” in the blazing temps. “Ridiculous — who wears a coat in this weather?” one bewildered non-fan asked.

Someone else wrote, “Sorry just laughing at this footage of Meghan wearing a heavy a** coat in NYC when it’s been hot and humid the past few days. LOL what is she hiding under there?”

And someone else stated, “Meghan needs a new stylist. Her wool coats and turtleneck are too warm for 81-degree temperature. Her turtleneck is too small and gaps in the front.”

The silly part is not that the emperor is wearing no clothes, in this case the clown is wearing everything under the sun and then some.

Another commented asked, “Does Meghan not understand weather? There was ‘no’ memo for coats today.”

One fan wanted to give Meghan a break but couldn’t. They tweeted, “Lol a fan of Harry and Meghan, but someone should’ve warned her about the September weather in NYC, she’s dressed aggressively for fall and it is basically 80 degrees.”
