British royal family news reveals what many have suspected all along, that Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex has always thirsted after the dream of being a real-life princess. She made that dream come true by marrying the United Kingdom’s Prince Harry and now insists that she be referred to as the Duchess of Sussex.
Meghan Thee Duchess will probably never admit to her long held desire, it kind of makes her attainment of that title a little suspect in the eyes of some. But the woman famous for her aspirations cannot deny that she elaborately detailed her desire to be a princess in her own words. Why she can’t just admit to it now is anyone’s guess.
Meghan Markle Lusted After The Title Of Princess For Years
According to a report in The Sun, Meghan’s very own blog, which she titled The Tig, went on about her life-long dream in detail. She closed The Tig down after meeting Harry and has since denounced social media users as addicts, likening them to drug addicts no less. But once upon a time she was right there in the thick of things, blogging away about how she imagined her life would turn out.
In a post, Meghan wrote, “Little girls dream of being princesses. I, for one, was all about She-Ra, Princess of Power. For those of you unfamiliar with the ’80s cartoon reference, She-Ra is the twin sister of He-Man, and a sword-wielding royal rebel known for her strength.”
According To Her Old Blog The Now-Duchess Admits To A Childhood Dream
Meghan abandoned the blog once she met her real-life prince, and based on her ramblings on it, shutting it down was probably in everyone’s best interests. That’s because she threw serious shade at Kate Middleton, the woman who would become her in-law. Awkward.
Meghan herself wrote this about Kate without even knowing her: “We’re definitely not talking about Cinderella here. Grown women seem to retain this childhood fantasy. Just look at the pomp and circumstance surrounding the royal wedding and endless conversation about Princess Kate.”
To be clear, or in Meghan’s haughty words, “For those of you unfamiliar with the … reference,” Meghan dissed “Princess Kate” as shallow, someone’s version of a, “childhood fantasy.”
Meanwhile Meghan is, “all about She-Ra, Princess of Power … a sword-wielding royal rebel known for her strength.”
It must be hard being Meghan. So right, always right, it’s almost as if she has ESP. Or maybe she just has a primal She-Ra urge to wield her sword and take what she wants?
