Royal Family News – Camilla Will Be Queen Consort
Angela Levin has written several biographies of senior members of the UK’s royal family. She spoke to GB News today about Queen Elizabeth’s historic and magnanimous gesture made on Camilla’s behalf.
In case you missed it, the queen dropped the bomb that she wishes for Camilla to be queen after her reign is over. Camilla is married to the queen’s son Prince Charles and as Her Majesty’s heir, he will be king. But Camilla’s status was in doubt until Sunday when the queen, “gave her blessing for Camilla to become Queen Consort when Prince Charles ascends the throne,” according to the Daily Mail. Up until this time it was thought that Camilla would become Princess Consort.
Royal Family News – Camilla Receives Great News
According to Levin, Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Excess is unpopular, as Camilla once was. She described her as a, “difficult woman,” who is, “not somebody who wants to work as a team.”
She told show hosts Eamonn Holmes and Isabel Webster that Camilla has her royal role down, just as the late Prince Philip did, which is to say they do not demand attention, but offer quiet support in the background.
Of Camilla she said, “When she’s with Prince Charles, she takes a backwards step and she’s there to support him rather like Prince Philip was. She doesn’t try to interfere, she doesn’t try to outsmart him, or rush ahead and shake hands with whoever is there.”
“The public has seen her in a way that they never have before. She works incredibly hard and I think the Queen feels quite rightly that she justifies it. She’s also never complained about anything, from the time she was most disliked, before she married Prince Charles, people were attacking her in every possible way.” In comparison, Meghan has called herself the most trolled person of 2019, wah-wah.
Royal Family News – Meghan Can Never Be Camilla
When Angela was asked if she thinks Meghan could learn a thing or two from Camilla, she said: “Camilla comes from a solid background, she had parents who loved each other and brought her up in a very easy way. I think that the Duchess of Sussex needs to prove herself non-stop … She [Meghan] has to win, and we’ve seen that with all these legal charges, very, very difficult woman I think.”
