Royal Family News: Meghan Markle As President Has Experts Howling

British royal family news reveals that Meghan Markle’s star has risen considerably since marrying into royalty. She married her Prince Charming, Harry, and promptly ditched the monarchy for a life back in her native LA. Does that she has her eye on a larger prize than being a princess?

Some experts think so and they have some very pointed opinions about her chance of reaching her lofty goal.

Is Meghan really thinking of running for the office of the US Presidency? Remember, in America children learn that they can be anything they want, it’s called the American Dream. But the thought of Meghan Markle as President is nothing but a stone cold nightmare for many.

Royal Family News – Will Meghan Markle Run For President?

According to royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams, Meghan has thoughts of running the country one day.

But he told Express that she could have an uphill battle on her hand to win the hearts and minds of Americans. He pointed to a popularity poll conducted by OnePulse which highlighted the way citizens here view the royal runaways with the trashy mouths.

They have a 51% positive rating and a 49% negative rating which prompted Fitzwilliams to say, “These figures are not encouraging. However, if a campaign was started she would have top backing in the Democratic Party and this might change public opinion.”

Royal Family News – Can You See Meghan Markle As US President?

Meghan’s popularity is even lower in the UK. The pundit said, “Meghan won’t be interested in the UK figure. She isn’t interested in popularity in the UK. The Sussexes are focused on the US and the wider world. There is so much rumor at the moment, I can’t see how she could be good for Anglo-American relations.”

Daily Express columnist Ann Widdecombe then said that she was, “slightly surprised,” by the findings, “because the Americans are taken in more by Meghan than we are.” Don’t paint with too broad a brush there, missy.

She added, “I don’t think she should be a politician. I think she’s much too self-focused. Some celebrities make the transition. Ronald Reagan is one. He was a good president and he was a very good actor. It is possible.”

Being British, Widdecombe may not realize that Reagan was also Governor of California (for two terms) before he made the leap, so comparing a Republican icon to the former game show hostess is like comparing apples and sour grapes.

    This is a joke, correct????
Why are you always saying you want "PRIVACY", then you do everything you can to be in the limelight????? Don't waste your time or money (which you claim you don't have) you know nothing about politics and you certainly would not be a fair representative for our country. Stay home and think of more ways you can annoy the Royal Family. They didn't want you and neither do we!

The sad part is that there are people who will vote for her.

Yes that is very true as some out there just believe everything they read as gospel yet I think this article is just something put together by the media to create drama and a way to keep the Sussex't in the headlines. Nothing Meghan has done makes me believe she wants to be president, she will support someone running for office if she truly believes in them and maybe a post or job in that presidency, just not the top job.

Omg….the way this country has shifted to decorum of that compared to a blade of grass ? She very well could one day be President..Unless this country shapes up and citizenship becomes a privilege and a responsibility for the betterment of this country it will happen and possibly worse with trumps winning again……however that being said hopefully by the time she might run, the country will have grown up and understands empathy, respect, and people become decent to each other and don’t try to overcome the Capital again, she won’t get past her first campaign …my opinion only.
