Royal Family News: Meghan Markle Ruffled Feathers In The Firm

Royal Family News reveals Meghan Markle did not make a good first impression on the royals and their staff from the very first moment she was married into the Firm.

“I was hearing very bad stories from early on that Meghan Markle was upsetting people,” royal expert Penny Junor shared on the ITV documentary “Harry and William: What Went Wrong”, also noting that Markle’s show-biz lifestyle and character approach to royalty annoyed people.

Meghan Markle Called Out For Her Show-Biz Lifestyle

The former “Suits” actress, 39, was described to be “not as charming as she seemed.”

“Our Royal Family are not celebrities. They are working members of a public institution,” the royal writer, Junor, explained. “I was appalled by the Oprah interview. These are not statements that should be made for public consumption. This is the sort of thing that should happen in the privacy of a psychiatrist’s couch.”

In March, Meghan and Harry sat down with popular U.S. chat show host Oprah Winfrey for an interview that promptly became massive. In the sit-down, the Sussex couple made a number of accusatory comments against the royal family, often contradicting themselves along the line, but it did have an impressive effect on the royal family.

Harry and Meghan accused a senior member of the royal family of racism and said the Firm ignored helping Meghan when she was having suicidal thoughts, simply because it would look bad for the Firm. Which, if you consider the statement, cannot be true on many counts.

One, Prince Harry acknowledged that he’s been seeing a therapist for years, and he’s the one born and raised as a royal, so if the royal family were to be ashamed to be seen taking therapy, Harry would have been stopped from further visits to his therapist.

Two, Meghan Markle is a royal only by marriage into the house of Windsor, she wasn’t born and raised as a royal, she’d only just become a royal so no one would expect her to ace it, so it’s pretty hard to imagine the Royal Family would feel shame to provide her with the best therapist if she asked for it.

Three, Harry admitted he was afraid to tell anyone of his wife’s condition, so, unless the royal family are mind readers, how are they supposed to know anyone needed a therapist.

Four, Harry is also a patron of a mental health organization, so he should know how serious the condition is (and his wife was pregnant at the time!) being too afraid to speak or take action just isn’t a nice excuse. The counts go on, but let’s not get too deep into that.

But according to Robert Lacey, the man who wrote the book “Battle of Brothers”, Prince William and Harry’s falling out began even before the Oprah interview and before Harry and wife Meghan stepped down as senior members of the royal family.

Royal Family News – When Did William And Harry’s Relationship Start To Go Sour?

Prince William and Harry, once very close, have hit a rift in their relationship that has not only distanced them, but has threatened to cut off communication between the brothers.

Robert Lacey said that the rift started long before any hints of tension between the brothers hit the press. According to Lacey, William suggested splitting his household from Harry when the latter’s wife was bullying staff and he would flare up every time the discussion came across.

Markle’s camp continues to deny the bullying claims, however, the couple have publicly remained silent in the face of the recent bullying accusations.

The Sussex couple currently base in Montecito California, where they live with their young son and 1-month-old daughter.

Meghan is a legend in her own mind; in others; not so much.
