British royal family news shows that Meghan Markle Duchess of Sussex may have acted rashly by cutting an official visit short due to a perceived snub that happened years earlier.

The event in question occurred in Fiji. At the time her attendants blamed heat, humidity and crowds for the duchess’s decision to leave after just eight minutes. This was greatly upsetting to the market vendors who had waited to meet her.

Royal biographer Robert Lacey is shedding a brighter light on that move, suggesting that the whole fiasco could have been affected by UN Women, which hosted the event.

Then she can be remorseless – heaven help you!” Yikes that sound like the Loch Ness Monster!

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry embarked on a royal tour of Australia and Fiji in 2018 and blamed heat, humidity and crowds for the duchess’s decision to leave after just eight minutes. She was due to make a 20-minute visit to the market in Suva, the Fijian capital, to see the work of Markets for Change – a project run by UN Women.

However, a source told The Times that her decision to leave was because of UN Women; she had only agreed to visit the market if there was no branding for the organization.
