Royal Family News – Meghan Omits Royal Work From Speech
Royal Family news reveals that, on Monday, Meghan and Prince Harry attended the One Young World summit in Manchester, England, reports Express UK. while there, Markle took the stage to address some 2,000 One Young World delegates that were in attendance.
While giving her speech, the 41-year-old Duchess of Sussex recalled attending the summit in London in 2019, noting that, back then, her life had “changed rather significantly.” She explained that, by that time, she was already married with a child.
Many thought the duchess seemed to snub the Royal Family, fully omitting her work as a member of the Royal Family in her speech.
Looking Back To 2019
Speaking to the large crowd gathered at the Manchester Central conference center, Markle recounted the 2019 iteration of the One Young World Summit in London, saying, “I joined you in London in 2019. By that point, it’s fair to say, my life had changed rather significantly.
After pausing briefly, she added: “I was now married and I was now a mum.” The London Summit took place at Royal Albert Hall in London.
‘Your Time Is Now’
According to Yahoo! in her speech on Monday Markle spoke of how working with One Young World has impacted her and how it might impact the lives of those in attendance. “We often hear people say ‘The time is now,’ but I’m going to double down on that by saying, ‘Your time is now,’
“The important work can’t wait for tomorrow. And this week, the world is watching as you cement your place in history by showcasing the good that you are doing today, in the present moment, as we embrace the moment of now to create a better tomorrow.”

The Rest Of The Journey
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived in the UK on Saturday. When their visit was announced a spokesperson for the couple said they would “visit with several charities close to their hearts in both the UK and Germany.
Following the visit to Manchester, the duke and duchess are set to travel to Germany to mark the one-year official countdown to the 2023 Invictus Games. Prince Harry founded Invictus in 2014, inspired by America’s Warrior Games in 2013.
