There’s a new report that suggests Meghan Markle’s absence at the coronation should actually help Prince Harry end his feud with his father, King Charles, and maybe even his brother, Prince William. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

As many royal fans know by now, the Duchess of Sussex has decided against accompanying her husband Prince Harry on the trip to London for the coronation celebrations. Instead, she will be staying behind in California with the couple’s two children, Archei and Lilibet.

It’s also being said that because Harry will be traveling to London on his own, he and his father are trying to have conversations ahead of the coronation, which will take place on May 6th. At least that’s what royal expert Robert Jobson says.

What’s more, it seems like some progress has already been made between the King of England and his son as both are doing their best to repair their relationship.

He put it this way, “The fact that Meghan’s not there will probably be more advantageous, at least they can speak more freely.”

But if there’s one person who doesn’t seem to be very pleased about this at all, it’s Prince William. Jobson says that the Prince of Wales “is not very happy about it,” adding, “But at the end of the day, he is sworn to the King and if the King wants it, he should just get on with it and take orders.”

He continued, “It’s going to be a short reign – the King will be 75 in November. The fact is support your father and if your father wants you to try to build bridges, build bridges.”

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter.
