Royal Family News: Meghan Markle’s Bullying Is Excused As Her Just Being ‘American’

Meghan Markle'British royal family news reveals that Meghan Markle is the subject of a bullying investigation. The ugly allegations stem from her time as a member of the royal family, when she is said to have treated staffers abhorrently.

One royal expert is excusing her behavior by using the, “American Card.” Yep, according to one fan, Meghan was just being her good old American self when she was so grossly misinterpreted by staffers who had to deal with her.

Christopher Andersen wrote, “Brother and Wives: Inside the Private Lives of William, Kate, Harry, and Meghan.” He told Insider that Meghan’s rumored bad behavior her former staff in the royal household was, “just a culture clash,” down to her, “distinctly American approach.”

Royal Family News – Royal Family Investigation Is Under Way On Meghan

As an American I take offense at that ludicrous statement as should every other native US citizen. Never have I done the sorts of things Meghan allegedly did, reportedly drive employees to tears and cause them to quit rather than work with her. How is that the American Way?

As Andersen sees it, “Particularly within the royal household they’re very indirect in the way they do things. The kind of plain-spoken, upfront personality, distinctly American approach that Meghan has to getting things done just rubs them the wrong way.”

Royal Family News – Is Meghan Markle A Bully?

In March the Times of London reported on the allegations that Meghan bullied her staff. According to the Daily Mail, “At the time, two senior staffers said they’d been bullied, one aide said they’d been ‘humiliated’ by Markle, and another said their experience with her felt ‘more like emotional cruelty and manipulation.’”

None of that is ok—so what was Meghan’s comeback? She said that SHE is the victim of a calculated smear campaign.

Royal Family News – Meghan Is A Victim?

In fact her lawyers threw the accusers under the bus claiming they, “peddle(d) a wholly false narrative.” Buckingham Palace disagreed and opened an investigation into the bullying claims.

The palace said in a statement, “We are clearly very concerned about allegations in The Times following claims made by former staff of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex.” At least someone is taking the tales of Meghan’s misbehavior, made by multiple parties, seriously instead of dismissively claiming to be the true victim as Meghan has.

I do not understand the reasoning behind the "American" comment. We are not rude like Trump OR Markle!! We shudder every single time they speak!! OK so I am not a Republican but neither is MM! She is unlike anyone I have known in my 78 years as an American. I know I am not speaking just for myself! We are not really used to demanding, outspoken etc. You have had many of our President's as visitors & a "few" Americans that you work with & live around!!

Sorry but this is false. She is a bully and bully’s blame everyone and everything on other people or situations. I’m American and have British friends and I get a long with them fine. Meghan just wanted to be the Queen and couldn’t handle told no.

Excuse me, but I think that is a terrible insult to Americans!!! If I were an American, I would be very offended by this, and rightly so!!!

Americans aren't bullies. MM is a bully. Stop generalizing!

rrismjI think she has gotten to full of herself. I bet Harry is afraid of her. It is sad the way she has been acting. I am 77 years old and I think her plan was to marry into the Royal Family. It would give her the chance to get all kinds of jobs. She doesn't seem to care. And now poor Harry is here stuck living in America. God bless him.

Blame bullying on being American. BS BS BS. Common courtesy is a world wide personal equitable means of conduct.

There is a difference between being direct and being cruel or spiteful. If a person has unintentionally upset someone with their direct attitude they should apologize. If Meghan was aware her behavior was upsetting people if she is the charitable person she likes to think she is she would have apologized and adapted her behavior to be more considerate. To fail to do so shows a nasty disregard for others. None of this has anything to do with her being American its down to a person's character and their kindness and respect for others. I believe I am no better than anyone else regardless of if they happen to be working for me in some capacity. Someone doing an honest days work to support themselves and their families are to be respected and appreciated not treated like peasants. It doesn't say much for her so called progress attitude. This type of behavior smacks of the sort of attitude towards people decent people are trying to move away from.
