Royal Family News: Meghan Markle’s Father Rushed to Hospital For Possible Stroke

British royal family news shows that Meghan Markle’s father, Thomas Markle, was rushed to a hospital by ambulance on Monday night. According to TMZ, the former lighting director may have suffered a stroke. During his Hollywood career Markle worked on the ABC soap General Hospital, and Meghan made her acting debut on the sudser.

The outlet reported that, “Paramedics loaded Thomas Markle into the ambulance in Tijuana, strapped an oxygen mask to his face and transported him around 9:30 PM to a hospital across the border in Chula Vista, CA.”

They added that, “Markle was admitted after fearing he was suffering a stroke. Thomas couldn’t actually speak to paramedics, and had to write down his symptoms on a piece of paper.”

Right before Meghan and Harry’s opulent 2018 wedding, Meghan’s dad said he suffered two heart attacks, preventing him from traveling to the UK for the nuptials. That set off a firestorm of speculation that the father and daughter had a strained relationship which was made worse by his absence.

Prior to his reported heart attacks, he’d staged pics of himself getting ready for the wedding which caused alleged consternation for Meghan and the royal family. Markle has been adamant about his medical woes but some, “people accused him of faking the medical crisis for sympathy. He never ended up going to the wedding, after all.”

Thomas Markle Has a Health Scare In Tijuana

The exact nature of Thomas’ current ailment and present condition is unknown at this time but TMZ reports that he remains hospitalized.

Interestingly enough, “Markle had recently said he would be attending Queen Elizabeth’s Jubilee celebrations in June.”

 Meghan Markle’s Dad Is Ill and Taken to the Hospital

Whether or not he goes to the Jubilee remains to be seen. It will be held June 2-5 and involve multiple celebrations across the country as well as a grand parade called Trooping the Colour. The event celebrates the queen’s 70 year reign and Markle has been vocal about his support for the queen in the midst of reported tension between Harry and Meghan and his family.
