British royal family news shows that Meghan Markle missed the 49th annual Gracie Awards in LA despite being named a digital media national winner.

The award ceremony came on the heels of last week’s Markle commotion in which the Duke and Duchess of Sussex claimed they were the victims of a two hour “relentless pursuit” at the hands of out-of-control paparazzi.
To give you an idea of how dangerous this “high speed” chase was, at least one of the photogs was riding a bicycle. Recollections may vary.
But there’s at least one citizen of earth who backs the Markles and their outrage, Lee Sansum, who protected Princess Diana in 1997. He told Fox News Digital that he whole heartedly supports Markle skipping the LA event. “The paparazzi would have been insane,” he sniffed.

The former bodyguard protected Princess Diana when she dated Dodi Fayed and he claimed of celeb chases: “People will provoke a chase to get the picture. And it might not be the cameraman, or the camera people, should I say. But hey, let’s pay a couple cars here to just . . . be decoys and just to really give them something just to get reaction.”

“They just want to snap one shot, one shot, that’s got, ‘Oh Meghan’s lost the plot.’ So . . . they create this environment.”

Sansum went on to describe how photogs sometime create situations to get a ‘money shot.’
He said, “I’ve been in this situation where . . . people are going to make money out of it, and they’re to try to get the car to do something crazy or just even hit something, you know, hit another car. Can you imagine that? Meghan’s driver running away from the paparazzi hit this poor individual?”

“If I was giving her security advice at this moment in time, I would have said, ‘Meghan, leave it. Let’s just let this simmer down. Just leave it.'” But he wasn’t driving and at one point the buffoon couple left their sheltered limo to jump in a public TAXI during the “chase.”
Harry was seen filming the whole debacle from the cab leading some pundits to speculate the scenario was provoked by the Markles for another cheesy Netflix project.
Royal Family News: Markle Car Chase
The “chase” occurred after the Women of Vision Awards in NYC on May 16. A spokesperson for Harry and Markle told Fox News Digital: “Last night, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex … were involved in a near catastrophic car chase at the hands of a ring of highly aggressive paparazzi.”
And yet New York City Mayor Eric Adams said he found it “hard to believe” a “two-hour, high-speed chase” took place on city streets plagued by traffic, pedestrians and construction projects. So tell us royal fans, who do you believe?
