In 2016 H and M announced their engagement and at that time the duchess announced she would be “stepping down from acting to start her new life as a working royal in the UK.” Four years later she “stepped down” from her royal role. Funny how life circles around.
Royal Family News: Meghan’s Amazing Resume
Princess Diana’s biographer Andrew Morton alleges that Queen Elizabeth was ready to allow Meghan to continue acting despite being a royal. We assume Meghan turned her down since she did not officially act before leaving the UK. In fact Morton claims that the queen gave Harry and Meghan complete freedom to “go wherever they pleased.” This is in direct opposition to Meghan telling Oprah that the palace confiscated her passport.
Following their engagement she and Harry told the BBC that she had no problem with ending her acting career.

According to the Daily Mail, which posted the document, “The last role listed was her first professional film role where she played the part of ‘Natalie “Hot Chick”‘ in Ashton Kutcher’s 2005 rom com A Lot Like Love.” She also played the part of “Hot Mama” during her infamous Ellen interview.
Royal News: Meghan’s Career Before Harry
Meghan put on her resume that she is 5’6″ and weighed 113lbs, with brown hair and eyes.
Also listed are a role on ABC’s soap opera General Hospital and a role in CBS’s drama, Century City. But even before these breakout roles, Meghan appeared on Nick News W5 when she was 11 years old. The reason? She complained about Proctor and Gamble treating women badly.
