Royal Family News: Mike Tindall Is ‘Worried About Money’ Before Birth Of Third Child

British royal family news reveals that Queen Elizabeth’s granddaughter Zara Tindall and her husband Mike Tindall are expecting their third child. They married in 2011 and are parents to daughters Mia and Lena who were born in 2014 and 2018.

Even though she is royalty and he is an ex-rugby player the couple are known for their down to earth ways and friendly manner. He recently talked about the future in an interview with The Times and humbly said, “You always worry about money.”

Mike retired in 2014 and has since earned a living giving speeches and attending events. But due to the COVID pandemic, these activities have been severely restricted. As a result he is in the same boat as millions of individuals around the world, with his income impacted by the pandemic.

In the interview Mike said he was lucky to have money coming in from his ambassadorial roles but that he and his wife understand that sponsorships are not a given.

He stated that the family was preparing financially to welcome their third child, due in summer, but added, “Sponsorships won’t last forever.”

Zara was an Olympic equestrian and she also earns money from sponsorships.

Royal Family News – Mike Tindall Is Realistic

He added, “You’ve got to plan, and now, with a third on the way and what’s coming down the line in terms of school bills, fees to pay…” and said that needing to work is, “something you just get used to.”

He noted that being a part of the royal family, “has its benefits and it has its negatives. “You think about what you do and you have to be aware of it, but it doesn’t necessarily dictate.”

In addition to his sponsorships Mike co-hosts the podcast The Good, The Bad And The Rugby, and he has appeared on television including on The Jump and Bear Grylls: Mission Survive.

Mike went on to talk about his wife and family saying that Zara is his best friend. As for their new baby, he added that they did not want to find out the gender of the baby before it is born and while they are hoping for a boy, they really just want for their baby to be healthy.
