When she missed the Remembrance Sunday event the palace issued a statement saying that her absence was due to a strained back. But recent pictures indicate that Her Majesty is feeling better and back to in-person then meetings.
Royal Family News – Queen Elizabeth Is Feeling Better
A recent royal event brought the chatter not so much for the particulars of the event, but for a photo spotted on her desk. At a ceremony at Windsor Castle Wednesday, eagles eyed royal fans spotted a new picture of her great-grandchildren.
The occasion was her awarding of concert organist Thomas Trotter with The Queen’s Medal for Music. But fans went wild for the photo that sat in the background.
The pic is adorable and shows the 95-year-old Queen Elizabeth sitting on a couch surrounded by her great-grandchildren. She looks immensely happy as she holds Princess Charlotte on her lap. Prince George is standing behind the couch and on the sofa sit Peter Phillips’ daughters Isla and Savannah, and Zara Tindall’s oldest daughter, Mia.
Royal Family News – The Queen Has Several Great Grandchildren
There was no visible date on the photo but based on the children present and their assumed ages, fans guestimated that it was taken around the end 2016 when Princess Charlotte would have been a year and a half old and the other kids between two and six years old.
Last month the queen attended a historic christening of two of her great-grandsons. Princess Eugenie’s son, 9-month-old August Brooksbank and Zara Tindall’s son 8-month-old Lucas Tindall were christened in a joint ceremony at All Saints Chapel in Windsor Great Park.

Her appearance at the baptism was a welcome sign for royal fans worried about the true state of the queen’s constitution. Previously she canceled a trip to Ireland and a trip to Scotland for COP26. Both times she was under doctor’s orders not to travel.
The exact medical conditions she is experiencing have not been revealed, but the palace has confirmed her medical status does not have to do with COVID-19.
