British royal family news shows that Harry and Meghan, who refer to themselves as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, have name dropped legendary Nelson Mandela as part of their gamey agenda.
Meghan claims that South Africa worships her because she is just like the late human rights campaigner, and Harry cheekily delivered a UN speech on the great leader. Afterward, Mandala’s grandson refuted Harry’s hot air, and now a granddaughter is calling out the thirsty pair.
Royal Family News – Meghan And Harry Called Out
According to NDTV, one of Mandala’s granddaughters, “has accused Prince Harry and Meghan Markle of using his legacy to promote their documentary.”
Ndileka Mandela is a social activist who has no time for the so-called Duke and Duchess name dropping her grandfather. In fact, she has called their trashy manner, “deeply upsetting and tedious.” Ndileka does not want the royal runaways to use the former South African president’s name to publicize their latest Netflix docuseries.
Royal Family News – Harry And Meghan Must Stand Down
That is exactly what they did in a trailer for the Netflix show, stating that Nelson Mandela was the inspiration for the couple’s seven-part Netflix documentary, “Live To Lead,” which was allegedly inspired by the anti-apartheid campaigner and dropped into ignominy on New Year’s Eve.
Ndileka told The Australian that she admired Harry and Meghan’s bravery in breaking off from the Royal family, but she is “deeply upset” they are using the leader’s legacy to fund their Hollyweird lifestyle.
Royal Family News – Mandalas Have No Time For Markles
She said that Harry should stick to his own narrative: “Harry needs to be authentic and stick to his own story, what relevance does Grandad’s life have to his?”
She added, “I admire Harry for having the confidence to break away from an institution as iconic as the Royal family. Granddad rebelled against an arranged marriage to find his own path in life. But it comes at a price, you have to then fund your own life, I’ve made peace with people using Granddad’s name, but it’s still deeply upsetting and tedious every time it happens.”
Royal Family News – Mandala’s Kin Upset
She makes a valid point, but given their track record the Markles likely won’t cease and desist. She went on to say that neither wrong ‘un has, “properly met Granddad, maybe when Harry was young at Buckingham Palace, but they are using his quotations in the documentary to draw in people and make millions without the Mandela family benefiting.” But, the Kennedy family loves and honors the Markles … does that count?
