The survey found that 55 per cent of Britons polled approve of the decision, with only a third, 28 per cent opposed. This is a new show of support for Camilla who has been cast in the past as a home wreaker. Perhaps memories do linger, as the poll revealed that the public still think that Charles’ late first wife, Princess Diana would have made a better Queen than Camilla

Royal Family News – Camilla Will Be Made Queen
There is more good news for the royals, most of them anyway. As compared to this time last year, the majority of royals saw their popularity rating increase. There were predictable exceptions and that includes disgraced Prince Harry and his wife Meghan and disgraced Prince Andrew—there popularity is almost nonexistent.
Her Majesty issued a statement for her Platinum Jubilee which included her blessing for Camilla to be crowned Queen Consort – as opposed to Princess Consort. The Daily Mail reported that this was decided years ago and Charles nearly announced it in 2019.
Royal Family News – Charles Nearly Broke the News
The Queen’s Jubilee weekend was the observation of her 70th anniversary of her accession to the throne. It came after the untimely death of her father when she was just 25. She told the nation in her address, “When, in the fullness of time, my son Charles becomes king, I know you will give him and his wife Camilla the same support that you have given me, and it is my sincere wish that, when the time comes, Camilla will be known as Queen Consort as she continues her own loyal service.”
The poll was conducted by Daily Mail yesterday and shows that Camilla’s image has grown more positive over the last ten years, and especially since Diana’s death in 1997.
