British royal family news shows that a new documentary asks about the elephant in the room, Meghan Markle. Specifically, the film asks the question, if the one time actress played a role in the Prince Harry and Prince William relationship estrangement.
Leave it to Omid Scobie to put his foot in it while trying to defend his friend and “soul mate.”
Royal Family News – Meghan Markle Is A Woman On A Mission
In the new ITV documentary, “Harry and William: What Went Wrong?” Omid Scobie tries his darndest to portray Meghan as a strong and successful woman who had nothing but good intentions toward the royal family she has made it her mission to drag.
“Meghan came in driven and ready to work and that immediately ruffled feathers,” said Scobie. “She’s a woman well into her 30s. I think she’s proven to herself and the people she’s worked with up until that point that she knows what she’s doing.”
In other words, Scobie Doo is asserting that sage Meghan should have been let loose to improve the monarchy and yet critics point to the fact that the centuries-old monarchy doesn’t tolerate change very well.
Was it inevitable that Meghan, according to Scobie, “was certainly not someone who was going to change herself just to please the people around her?”

Scobie also seemed to suggest that Meghan took offense at being beneath Prince William and Kate Middleton on the royal hierarchy. “I felt they also had to be reminded: ‘You’re not the stars of the show here. There is a hierarchy and you don’t come very high in it,” Scobie said.
Reminded like having to remind kids in a candy store that they can’t shove everything into their mouths at one time?
Scobie’s pithy comments corroborate others’ observations about Meghan’s failed princess stint.
Camilla Tominey the associate editor of The Daily Telegraph, said that Meghan expected to, “be on equal footing” with William and Kate.
“Why can’t we have what the Cambridges are having? We should be on an equal footing,’” Tominey said the Sussexes demanded.
Royal expert Robert Lacey reinforced the entitled attitude by quoting a source close to William who said Meghan seemed to have an “agenda” from the beginning and claimed that an insider told him Meghan could be a, “500 percent nightmare” because of “the never-ending P.R.”
And royal expert Penny Junor said that Meghan didn’t make a good first impression: “She was not as charming as she seemed. Harry and Meghan’s approach is not just Californian, it’s showbiz-y, celebrity. Our royal family are not celebrities. They are working members of a public institution.”
