A new survey shows that the thirsty pair are now a turn-off for millions of royalists, and more than half of Brits polled swore they would switch channels if they came upon Harry and Meghan’s interview with Oprah Winfrey.

The exclusive Sun on Sunday poll indicates that most recipients wish the Sussexes would just stay put in American and never bother to come on back to Britain.

A third said their opinion of the ungrateful couple has worsened since they left.

On top of that the majority, (65 per cent) said they have no intention of watching the 90 minute self-serving Oprah show versus 27 per cent who will.

Nearly half of residents (43 per cent) do not want this greedy pair to come home at all and a measly 29 per cent, less than a third, do not want to see them resume a function within the family.

This poll was taken before the queen decisively ejected Harry and Meghan from the level of working royals; they have already been stripped of their remaining royal duties.

But most Brits think it is right for the couple to lose their royal patronages, the survey by Redfield & Wilton Strategies shows.

Some 44 per cent said they should have them taken away, with only 29 per cent believing they should keep hold of them.
