Royal Family News: Palace Fears Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Will Upstage The Queen

British royal family news shows that after a shock visit from Harry and Meghan on Wednesday, the palace has a new concern—that they WILL come to the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. According to reports, sources close to Prince Charles, “fear any plan by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to return to Britain with their children for the Platinum Jubilee weekend could overshadow the commemoration of the Queen’s 70-year reign.” Oh, it will.

Harry and Meghan stopped over to see the family on their way to the Invictus Games, with a camera crew who shot their every move. Just days ago Harry refused to attend his grandfather’s memorial because he was not “safe” in the UK, but maybe having cameras all around made him feel safer?

The royal runaways failed to bring their kids, one of whom, Lilibet, is named after the Queen. The outlet claims that the Queen is now hoping that the couple come back with their children, “but a source close to Charles said there were concerns that a visit coinciding with the Jubilee weekend in early June – when Lilibet will turn one – will distract attention from his mother’s milestone, by creating a ‘circus.’”

In what has been deemed a show of petulance, Meghan ticked off many royal fans in her opening words at the start of the Games. She bragged about, “her and her husband’s ‘service’ in a speech … telling competitors: ‘This is service.’”

Some are calling her words a direct slapback at the queen who was not amused when they defected from the monarchy in a move now known as Megxit. In response to their wild and rash behavior she said, they would not, “continue with the responsibilities and duties that come with a life of public service.’”

Harry And Meghan Retorted, “We Can All Live A Life Of Service. Service Is Universal.”

It’s not the first time Meghan has been perceived as mocking the queen. In a pitiful birthday video she filmed last year, Meghan sat alone in a room and demanded that unemployed women get back to work, then grinned while “tea” was referenced.

Insiders described the meeting on Wednesday between Harry and his father as, “frosty.” Harry was not on time and reportedly gave his dad Charles a mere 15 minutes of his time.
