British royal family news reveals that the first drop of Harry and Meghan’s six-part Netflix reality show has turned into a war of he said/she said over who was asked to participate. The gauche show opens with the Sussexes saying that the royals were asked to say something, anything, about the douchy show that shows how often the Markles cry and laugh and roar in their insular world.
Immediately the palace issued a statement claiming that they were NOT contacted for comment. Hours later that claim has been walked back. What is the state of this verbal battle right now? Keep reading to find out!
Royal Family News – Harry And Meghan And Netflix
According to the Daily Mail, “A senior source insisted Buckingham Palace, Kensington Palace and members of the family were not approached for comment on content in the six-part series in a devastating blow to its credibility.”
This was met with a rebuttal from Netflix, who stated that, “the communications offices for the King and the Prince of Wales were contacted in advance and given the chance to react to Harry and Meghan’s ‘claims within the series.’”
After a bit, perhaps a furious search of email logs, the palace machinery responded to say, “that they had an email from a third-party production company, not Harry and Meghan’s Archewell foundation or Netflix.” Apparently, William the Prince of Wales’ aides then tried to contact the Sussexes and the Netflix but no one answered.

Thus the palace party line is now: “In the absence of this verification, we were unable to provide any response. The substance of the email we received also did not address the entire series.”
Royal Family News: War of Sussex Words
The Netflix reality show is torching social media with fans taking sides over the tacky, self-congratulatory couple spinning their narrative like a modern day Rumpelstiltskin, demanding what they are not owed.
Among the foolish rants are Harry saying he was raised by a “second family” in Africa and that his decision to marry the C-lister came “from his heart” implying the rest of the family had other motives for choosing spouses. According to Harry, “I think for so many people in the family, especially obviously the men, there can be a temptation or an urge to marry someone who would fit the mold as opposed to somebody who you perhaps are destined to be with. The difference between making decisions with your head, or your heart. And my mum certainly made most of her decisions – if not all of them – from her heart. And I am my mother’s son.” The last three episode of this soggy tearjerker drop next Thursday.
