Royal Family News: Piers Morgan Insists Meghan Markle Not Googling Prince Harry Is ‘Implausible’

British royal family news reveals that unemployed Piers Morgan is firm in his belief that Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex’s claim that she had little interest in Prince Harry and the Royal Family before they met doesn’t hold water.

In her March 7 tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey, the Duchess of Sussex claimed she never researched online for information about the man she would marry. She also vowed that she had little interest in the British Royal Family while growing up in America. “I didn’t grow up knowing much about the Royal Family,” she said.

“It wasn’t something that was part of the conversation at home.”

Royal Family News -Piers Morgan Is Now Unemployed

She kept adding, perhaps for emphasis that, “It wasn’t something that we followed.”

“Thank God I didn’t know about the family, thank god I didn’t research, I would have been so in my head about it.”

Morgan is not buying what Meghan Thee Duchess is selling. Since losing his job in an on air tirade over her claims, the former Good Morning Britain presenter has restated his belief that her claims are rubbish.

He wrote an article for the Mail On Sunday saying “Equally implausible was Meghan’s insistence she never checked out Harry online when they first met or had much interest in his family.”

The onetime editor of the Daily Mirror said he had been told by Meghan’s friends that she had been fascinated with the Royals and in particular with Diana.

This claim seems to be backed up by a childhood friend of the Duchess of Sussex.

Suzy Ardakani has reported that she and Meghan used to spend playdates watching Princess Diana’s wedding to Prince Charles in 1981.

Her mother, Sonia, told the Daily Mail in 2017, prior to Markle’s 2018 wedding, “I always loved Diana and I have her biography, which I gave Meghan to read.”

“I videoed Diana’s wedding back in 1981, and I would watch it with Suzy and Meghan all those years later. They would also see items about her on TV.” Whoopsie, another Meghan Markle whopper that appears to have been discredited?

Meghan and Harry met in 2016 after a mutual friend arranged a blind date for them.

In an interview with the BBC in 2017 Meghan claimed, “I didn’t know much about him, so the only thing that I had asked (our mutual friend) when she said that she wanted to set us up, was, ‘Well, is he nice?’ Cause if he wasn’t kind, it just didn’t seem like it would make sense.”
