Should Whoopie Goldberg Apologize?
The former Good Morning Britain presenter was fired by the show after Meghan complained to the head honcho that Piers disagreed with her in public. That is what the state of woke whining has come to. After coming to GMB he brought it from the ratings basement to the top and the day he was fired was the show’s highest ratings day ever. Since his departure the ratings have tanked and he has moved on to greener pastures.
According to Newsweek, “Piers shared a video of Goldberg’s remarks and wrote on Twitter: “WTF? This is insane. The extermination of 6 million Jews wasn’t about race??? Will any rock stars or renegade royals now boycott Whoopi Goldberg and/or ABC for this dangerous misinformation?”
The outlet went on, “Morgan appeared to link the debacle to Harry and Meghan’s past comments on misinformation—a day after they voiced concerns about Joe Rogan’s Spotify podcast.”

The couple have crusaded against certain instances of “misinformation” as when Meghan complained that Piers did not agree with her view of reality. On January 30 they joined the bandwagon, via their Spin Dr., on Rogan.
Rogan has a podcast on Spotify, has had covid and is not vaxxed. That has led indignant, self-righteous musicians like Neil Young and Joni Mitchell, to rail about Rogan and leave Spotify rather than co-exist peacefully. They threatened to leave if Spotify did not fire Rogan, and they left. As Meghan did with Piers and GMB, and some musicians have done with Rogan and Spotify, it’s their way or the highway.

Goldberg’s comments came as The View’s hosts discussed a Tennessee school board’s decision to ban the book ban Maus, about, “Polish Jews who survived the Holocaust, due to concerns about profanity and nudity.”
Goldberg, “I mean, it’s about the Holocaust, the killing of 6 million people, but that didn’t bother you? If you’re going to do this, then let’s be truthful about it. Because the Holocaust isn’t about race. No, it’s not about race. It’s about man’s inhumanity to other man.”

Ana Navarro replied, “But it’s about white supremacy. It’s about going after Jews and Gypsies and Roma.” Goldberg said, “But these are two white groups of people.”
Goldberg later tweeted this statement: “On today’s show, I said the Holocaust ‘is not about race but man’s inhumanity to man. I should have said it is about both. As Jonathan Greenblatt from the Anti-Defamation League shared, ‘The Holocaust was about the Nazi’s systematic annihilation of the Jewish people—who they deemed to be an inferior race.’ I stand corrected. The Jewish people around the world have always had my support and that will never waiver. I’m sorry for the hurt I have caused.”
