British royal family news shows that tongues are wagging over a portrait of Meghan Markle released on social media that has some wondering about her future ambition.

The talk is about a picture of the former game show hostess who now calls herself Duchess of Sussex. It was taken at the United Nations headquarters in New York City and released on Instagram this week. It was staged for United Women.

The photo is undated but Meghan and her husband Harry were seen on several photo ops in New York in 2021. In June they were there for Global Citizen Live in June, in which they lectured under the influence of ignorance on global vaccine equity.

Royal Family News – Meghan Markle Has Political Ambitions?

Then there was the time Meghan and Harry were seen at the Intrepid Museum’s 2021 Salute to Freedom Gala in November. The new photo shared on Instagram shows Meghan standing sideways.

According to Express, “Meghan’s hair is swept back from her face, and she is dressed in all-black attire which appears to be a figure-hugging black dress with a sparkly collar. She is standing in front of an army-green background with a demure smile at the camera.”

The portrait has prompted a social media frenzy with one poster exclaiming: “This feels regal and peaceful. Beautiful photo!” Someone else was so taken they gushed incorrectly, “Keep up the good work. Fantastic photo of the Queen.”

There were those that compared her to Kate Middleton, the duchess of Cambridge: “Copying Kate of course,” and another added, “of course. She has to have a portrait like Catherine.”

Meghan spoke at the UN Women’s conference in 2015, “as she delivered an impassioned speech about being a ‘female advocate’. The Duchess spoke about the theme of gender inequality, and how women should empower one another “because it isn’t enough to simply talk about equality.”

She added: “It is just imperative: women need a seat at the table, they need an invitation to be seated there, and in some cases, where this is not available, well then, you know what, they need to create their own table.”
