Royal Family News: Power Players Kate Middleton And Jill Biden Hold Private Summit During G7 Summit

British royal family news divulges that female empowerment is on display and on the agenda at the G7 Summit. Global power players Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, and US First Lady Jill Biden will meet for a discussion on female empowerment when the G7 summit kicks off in Cornwall.

This is the first introduction for Kate Middleton and Mrs. Biden and it is expected that they will discuss children and early education.

This marks the third time Kate will meet with a President and his wife, previously meeting with Barack and Michelle Obama in 2011 and 2016.

According to CNN, the women will tour a school in Cornwall as part of their meeting. The summit opened on the beach with the world leaders gathering for a historic photo.

Royal Family News – Kate Middleton Is Going From Strength To Strength

The first G7 session focuses on the theme of ‘building back better after the global pandemic. On Friday evening later Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles hosted a reception at the Eden Project for the world leaders and their spouses. There William and Kate will join them, plus Camilla the Duchess of Cornwall, for the reception.

It is the first year that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attend official G7 summit events, raising their leadership profile as senior royals.

After the Royal Family takes their leave the leaders and their spouses will have dinner then return to the summit location, Carbis Bay.

Royal Family News  – Prince William Is Growing His Reputation

Also on Friday, a meeting is held to discuss a historic event in the queen’s reign, the Platinum Jubilee. The Big Jubilee Lunch will be held as a part of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in 2022. On Friday the monarch, Kate and Camilla, will all attend an event spearheaded by the Eden Project, in celebration of The Big Lunch. There the royal party will meet local Big Lunch volunteers to personally thank them for their efforts supporting local communities during the pandemic.

Then on Sunday, President Biden and his wife Jill will visit Windsor Castle for an audience with the queen; it is their first official engagement with her since becoming president.

Jill Biden had this to say about the summit: “Well, we’re hoping to focus, I think, on education. Joe and I are both looking forward to meeting the Queen. That’s an exciting part of the visit for us.
