Royal Family News – Andrew Agrees To Settle Out Of Court
Why did Andrew agree to settle, seemingly out of the blue, after recently requesting that a jury hear the case in fall? Andrew’s lawyers tried to have the case thrown out but in the end, “The only option remaining was to accept this abject public humiliation,” according to royal writer Guy Adams who maintains that Andrew’s own missteps lead him to this ignominious conclusion.
These miscues included, “unfair and sometimes vicious public attacks,” on the plaintiff, “squarely from Prince Andrew, his PR team, their lawyers and what remains of his circle of friends.” Which is to say that in effect Andrew could be perceived as victim-shaming.

In one example, “the prince’s attack-dog £2,000-an-hour attorneys were attempting to persuade a judge that an old newspaper article that had dubbed Miss Roberts a ‘money hungry sex kitten’ ought to be used as evidence in court.”
One quote was from a “discredited” ex of Roberts who claimed she was the “head bitch” for sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, who she claims trafficked her to his friend Andrew.
The case against Prince Andrew claimed Roberts was forced to have sex with Andrew, “on three occasions in 2001, when he was 41 and she was 17, just a few years older than his teenage daughter.”
Royal Family News – Andrew Cannot Attend The Platinum Jubilee?
“Calling your accuser a ‘money hungry sex kitten’ is, at best, distasteful and at worst downright offensive … the judge … witheringly observed that the nasty article had only been dragged into the litigation for ‘public relations purposes.’”
Later, Andrew’s team tried to have the case thrown out, based on, “an agreement Miss Roberts signed with Epstein about 15 years ago, and then to have it thrown out because she lived in Australia. Both failed.”
Prior to the case being filed, Prince Andrew conducted a disastrous BBC interview in which he claimed he could not have had sex with the accuser because he could not “sweat.” When he was asked about the infamous picture showing him and the accuser hugging, he claimed it was, “some sort of forgery. I have absolutely no memory of that photograph ever being taken.”
He then blathered on, “From the investigations that we’ve done, you can’t prove whether or not that photograph is faked or not because it is a photograph of a photograph of a photograph. So it’s very difficult to be able to prove it but I don’t remember that photograph ever being taken.” Conversely, he will now be remembered as the person who settled out of court with the other person in the photograph—forged or not.
