Prince Andrew Is A Pain?
It’s now been reported that Prince Andrew will be back in fine fettle for another showy appearance right beside his mother, 96-year old Queen Elizabeth. What event has been chosen to flaunt his visage this time around? The dramatic re-run pop-up taking place is scheduled for Windsor Castle on June 13.
On that day the Garter Day ceremony will be held and according to The Sun, it, “is one of the most important in the Royal Family’s calendar.” But wait, there’s more! The very next day, “The controversial Duke will also will be listed in the next day’s Court Circular.”
It’s reported that the Duke will attend the event privately as a Knight. Which brings to mind the immortal phrase, ‘if a tree falls in the forest’—no, not that one, the one about the rose smelling by whatever name ….
Will Prince Andrew Upstage The Queen?
As it might be imagined, Andrew’s presence has brought out the boo birds who are fearful that he could, “overshadow the Queen’s celebration, bringing unwanted controversy to the proceedings.”
And yet an unnamed source told The Telegraph that Andrew’s attendance is, “standard practice.”
Is Prince Andrew Still A Part Of The Royal Rota?
This return comes just days before the disgraced prince will be listed with a stripped HRH title. The stripping was a severe blow to Andrew, as was the taking away of his royal patronages.
What did Andrew do to merit such a spanking? According to him, nothing. That was his story and he’s sticking to it, after settling a sex abuse case against him earlier this year.
Is Prince Andrew A Disgrace?
The case was settled out of court for millions of dollars and Andrew has always maintained his innocence in the matter.
