Royal Family News: Prince Andrew Makes Stunning Request

British royal family news reveals that Prince Andrew’s lawyers have pulled a surprise move in court, requesting a dismissal of the New York City sexual assault case against him. The case was brought by Virginia Giuffre and involves charges he has sex with her on three occasions when she was a minor.

Andrew’s court filing reads: “Virginia Giuffre may well be a victim of sexual abuse at the hands of Jeffrey Epstein…and nothing can excuse, nor fully capture, the abhorrence and gravity of Epstein’s monstrous behavior against Giuffre, if so.”

“However, and without diminishing the harm suffered as a results of Epstein’s alleged misconduct, Prince Andrew never sexually abused or assaulted Giuffre. He unequivocally denies Giuffre’s false allegations against him.”

The lawyers also contend that Giuffre, “profited from her allegations against Epstein and others by selling stories and photographs to the press and entering into secret agreements to resolve her claims against her alleged abusers, including Epstein and his ex-girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell.”

Royal Family News – Andrew Wants Suit Dismissed

Maxwell is currently awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. Epstein killed himself in prison after being convicted of sex trafficking. Andrew has been pictured with both individuals and kept company with each of them. One widely circulated photo shows him with Maxwell and Giuffre, with his hand around the latter’s bare waist.

It is not known how much money his accuser received through a settlement with the Epstein Victims Compensation Fund, reportedly worth more than $121 million.

Driving home their point that the case should be dismissed, the lawyers stated, “Epstein’s abuse of Giuffre does not justify her public campaign against Prince Andrew … (her) pattern of filing a series of lawsuits against numerous high-profile individuals should no longer be tolerated, as it continues to irreparably harm many innocent people.”

Royal Family News – Andrew Disputes the Lawsuit

Andrew is ninth in line to the British throne occupied by his mother Queen Elizabeth. He was served documents in the lawsuit in August at the Royal Lodge in Windsor. He and the queen have come under fire after it was revealed she is the one paying his legal fees in the case.

His accuser is now married to martial arts trainer Robert Giuffre and the couple and their three children live in Australia.
