Instead, there’s a very good chance that he might write his own memoir in the same way that the Duke of Sussex did just so he can tell his own story. Here’s what you need to know.

According to new reports, Andrew has been tipped to write his own tell-all memoir, seeing how Harry’s book, Spare, has been very successful. One source close to the situation told the Daily Mail that Andrew wants to write his book as another way to help restore his reputation after he was accused of sexually assaulting Virginia Giuffre when she was still a teen.

Apparently, there are a lot of people in Andrew’s inner circle of friends who think this is a good idea. What’s more, Andrew’s ex-wife Sarah Ferguson also wants to help as she has a lot of contacts in the publishing world.

One tipster shared, “It is inconceivable that he has not thought of this. Plenty in his circle think that’s just what he should do and Fergie, who has written her own memoir, My Story, has got all the contacts in publishing.”

Not only that, but the insider also added that Prince Andrew would have never considered writing a book while Queen Elizabeth was still alive. But now that she’s gone Andrew, thinks that this is the best time to get his side of the story out there.

The insider continued, “He would never have considered it while his mother was alive but it would be the perfect riposte now. Of course the royals wouldn’t like it, but Fergie did hers and wasn’t ostracised — and as for Harry, they are even now talking about family reconciliation.”

Now, whether or not Andrew does write a book remains to be seen but for now he’s certainly made it clear that he wants to clear his name no matter what.
