Royal Family News: Prince Andrew OBSESSED With Return To Public Life, Manipulating Queen?

British Royal news reveals royal expert and author of The Palace Papers, Tina Brown, has said Prince Andrew will use his relationship with Queen Elizabeth II to regain a foothold as a working royal.

According to Express UK, Brown claims the beleaguered royal is set to begin working his way back into royal public life ahead of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

In an interview with 60 Minutes Australia, the royal expert speculated that the disgraced Duke of York could cozy up to the Queen in order to pave his way back as a working royal. “Andrew fully expects to be rehabilitated. He’s not even accepted that he’s going to have to have a quiet few years.”

If Brown is to be believed, the prince is keen on reestablishing his previous royal status after having much of his royal privilege and title removed in January of this year. She continues, adding that Andrew “strongly” believes that he can “get back.”

“I’m told that this is something that he is obsessed with, that he believes is going to happen,” she continued, adding that, over time, he thinks he can “get back into the mix.”

It’s believed that if Prince Andrew can win approval from his mother the Queen that he can find stability under her auspices. Ms. Brown says that the duke sees his mother as the “best route” and that no one is going to say to the Queen, due to her elevated stature, “you cannot see your son.”

She said that, even though the Queen understands the gravity of the situation and thus has no desire to be seen with her son presently, “he can keep pushing his face in.”

Royal Family News – Sex Abuse Settlement Tarnished Duke’s Reputation

As royals fans know, Andrew stepped down as a working royal in 2020 following accusations of child sex abuse by Virginia Guiffre. The prince has vehemently denied the allegation and continued to maintain his innocence to this day.

However, it’s worth noting that the duke settled the civil case out of court for upwards of $15 million and that may have indeed indelibly tarnished his reputation as a member of the Royal Family.
