Royal Family News: Prince Andrew Wants A Normal Life After Ghislaine Maxwell’s Conviction

British royal family news shows that’s Prince Andrew’s friend Ghislaine Maxwell was convicted yesterday as a sex-trafficker. What does this mean for Andrew? Maxwell is no random friend, one of her accusers has also brought legal proceedings against Andrew, claiming that he had sex with her when she was a minor. She alleges that Maxwell and the late convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein trafficked her to Andrew.

In a word, it does not look good for Andrew. Maybe someone should tell him that because it’s being reported that he wants intends to get back to business as usual despite his future looking dim after Maxwell’s legal comeuppance.

Prince Andrew was evicted from performing public duties due to his friendship with Epstein and Maxwell who has been called his “pimp.” Andrew is being sued by Virginia Giuffre, who claims Maxwell and Epstein trafficked her and forced her to sleep with Andrew on three occasions when she was 17.

Andrew has not said much about the case, his mother Queen Elizabeth is footing his enormous legal bill and this week, Andrew’s legal team tried to get the case thrown out. They state that the plaintiff is not a US resident and lives in Australia thus she is not allowed to sue him in New York where she brought suit.

An inside source to Andrew told The Post, “He would like to be back serving his country, carrying out his public duties, but this won’t be easy … having [the Giuffre] lawsuit dismissed will be one step towards that.”

Next year Queen Elizabeth celebrates her Platinum Jubilee, one of the biggest events of her reign. Will he be present?

Joe Little, managing editor of Majesty magazine, told The Post, “We have to bear in mind that the Duke of York hasn’t been charged with anything and is innocent until found guilty. But there is no getting around the fact his reputation is badly tarnished, and in the process it has also tarnished the institution of the monarchy. A lot of damage has been done.”

A former federal prosecutor in New York, Bradley Simon, told the Telegraph Andrew now faces, “guilt by association” after Maxwell’s conviction.

Prince Andrew’s US-based legal team closely watched the Maxwell trial, during which time the jury heard that Andrew was among those who flew on Epstein’s private jet, nicknamed the “Lolita Express.”

Little added, “to my mind, there is really no going back for the Duke of York.”
