But the case may never get to that stage as some are predicting that Prince Andrew’s request is a ploy designed to get him what he wants.
Prince Andrew Denies the charges Against Him
What Andrew initially wanted was for the judge to toss the case brought by his accuser Virginia Giuffre. She alleges that she was sex trafficked to the prince on three occasions while she was still a minor. Andrew denies the charges against him.
That request was denied and now Andrew apparently wants a jury to hear his case. Or does he? Experts think that the move is meant to force Giuffre to accept an out of court settlement. Once those headlines blared, her attorney retorted that she will never accept a settlement unless he admits to having met her, something he denies.
Can A Photograph Be Proven Real?
There is a widely circulated photo which shows Andrew with his arm around the bare waist of his accuser. The latest claim about the case comes from lawyer Rachel L. Fiset who predicts that Andrew, “will ask his accuser Virginia Giuffre to prove the validity of the photograph.”
According to The News, “Experts worry Prince Andrew has intentions to make his accuser prove the legitimacy of the infamous photograph in question during the assault case trial. In conversations with The Daily Beast, she revealed there is a chance the prince will, “seek an expert’s opinion on whether or not it is real.”
Will Prince Andrew Testify In His Case?
Prince Andrew’s friends have claimed that the photograph is not real and is Photoshopped. It is a powerful visual as it, “corroborates Giuffre’s story and appears to place Andrew with another prominent member of the alleged Epstein conspiracy (Maxwell) at the location of the alleged abuse.”
Fiset added, “This case would likely not have garnered the amount of media attention it has without the photograph because the photograph, at the least, makes her story credible.”
