British Royal Family News says that regardless of whether he wants to end his royal exile or not, the matter is certainly not up to him. In a surprising move, there are new reports that say Prince Andrew has consulted his lawyers in the hopes that he can overturn his sex abuse deal. Here’s what you need to know.

According to reports, the Duke of York has spoken to his lawyers about getting his accuser Virginia Roberts to retract her allegations that she made against him. Apparently, Andrew was inspired to act after Roberts had dropped her lawsuit against another man.

One source close to the situation says, “Andrew felt as if he was in a pressure-cooker, as if he was given no option but to settle. But he never wanted to settle and has always insisted he was innocent. He wants to see what legal routes might be available to him. This isn’t about the money. He wants a route back to some sort of normality after a deeply trying period. I can tell you with confidence that Prince Andrew’s team is now considering legal options.”

Back in October, royal expert Omid Scobie wrote in his column for Yahoo that while King Charles might have sympathy for his brother Prince Andrew, there’s a reason why the door is shut tighter than ever for the royal. At least, when it comes to being a royal in the public eye.
