Royal Family News: Prince Andrew’s Friend Ghislaine Maxwell Will Be Sentenced Soon

British royal family news reveals that Ghislaine Maxwell, friend of Prince Andrew, will be sentenced in a New York City courtroom on Tuesday on child sex trafficking charges. She faces a maximum of 55 years as a prisoner, which means the 60-year old could die behind bars.

At least two of her alleged victims will be in the courtroom and will read victim impact statements; Maxwell’s lawyer tried to prohibit this from happening. At least two victims will be present when the British former socialite faces the judge’s decision.

Prince Andrew’s Friend Behind Bars

Maxwell is in New York’s Metropolitan Detention Center, and it’s been reported that there is bounty on her head. A source told The Mail on Sunday, “One woman was going around openly bragging that she was going to murder Ghislaine for $1 million.”

They added, “There are violent felons in there who would do it just for the notoriety of killing a high-profile prisoner, but others believe they will receive money if they kill her. They have been told there is a bounty on her head.” In December Maxwell was found guilty on five counts of federal sex-trafficking charges in relation to Prince Andrew’s friend Jeffrey Epstein, the child molester who killed himself in prison in 2019.

Prince Andrew’s Friends Are Convicts

According to the outlet Maxwell’s legal team will immediately file an appeal no matter the length of her sentence.  According to the source, Maxwell – who was on suicide watch in solitary confinement for nearly two years – teaches inmate classes in spoken English, English literature and yoga.

Ghislaine Maxwell Teaches

The source said, “Most of the women are Spanish-speaking and she speaks fluent Spanish. She enjoys teaching and it keeps her busy and productive.”

Prosecutors have condemned her “lack of remorse” but the source says that some, not all, of her fellow inmates have, “warmed to the Oxbridge-educated daughter of multi-millionaire media tycoon Robert Maxwell.”

In February Prince Andrew paid an out of court settlement to Virginia Giuffre who claims she was sex trafficked as a minor to Andrew, at the hands of Epstein and Maxwell. Andrew maintains his innocence but nonetheless gave Giuffre millions of dollars to in effect go away.
