British royal family news shows that Buckingham Palace has just announced the next big overseas tour to be made by a senior royal couple and it will make millions of North American fans ecstatic. Prince William and Kate Middleton conducted a tour of the Caribbean in March and now it is Prince Charles and Camilla Duchess of Cornwall’s turn to undertake a major engagement abroad.
It was announced this week that Charles and Camilla will visit Canada in May in honor of Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee.
Royal Family News: Charles and Camilla Will Be In Canada
Last weekend the happy couple celebrated their 17th wedding anniversary. On the heels of their joyous occasion, their Canadian itinerary was announced. The couple will be in Canada for three days and during that time the future heir and his queen consort will visit Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada’s Capital Region and the Northwest Territories.
The couple was last in the country in 2017 and this trip marks Charles’ 19th visit to Canada.
Royal Family News – Charles And Camilla Will Be King And Queen One Day
Charles’ son and heir, Prince William, was in Canada with his wife and children back in 2016. Prince Louis was not yet born and the trip was Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s first overseas tour.
Kate and William recently had an eight-day visit to Belize, Jamaica and The Bahamas. They received warm welcomes from the locals who were said to have greeted the pair like “rock stars.” Some of the politicians were not as warm, with the Jamaican leader proclaiming on stage in front of William and Kate that his country plans to withdraw from the Commonwealth. The Commonwealth of Nations is a group led by William’s grandmother, Queen Elizabeth. In those nations she is head of state.

Royal Family News – The Cambridge’s Were In Canada In 2016
After the news of Charles and Camilla’s visit was announced, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s office issued a statement on his behalf. Trudeau, “said that he and his wife Sophie are looking forward to welcoming Charles and Camilla and ‘showing them some of the many reasons why we take pride in being Canadian.’”
According to People, “Trudeau said the tour will be ‘an opportunity for Their Royal Highnesses to take part in various initiatives to honour The Queen’s service and dedication to our country, and meet with inspiring Canadians who are making a difference in our communities.’”

She is not put a foot wrong since joining the royal family and has done the job unlike some others. I bet there are many people that you know who have cheated on their spouses…..Charles and Diana were always a mismatch of a couple forced into a marriage by men who thought they knew better..that is life, mistakes are made and learned from as we have all seen.
