For both the royal family and basically the entire world, the pandemic has managed to flip everyone’s world upside down. And while many were hoping that by now things would get better, that doesn’t seem to be the case in many parts of the world.
According to People Magazine, Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall have received their first Covid-19 vaccination this week. The moment was especially poignant for Prince Charles, because as many fans remember he contracted the virus back in March. While Camilla didn’t contract the virus, she had to self-isolate from Charles in their Scottish home, Birkhall, as he recovered.
Charles is 72 while Camilla is 73, which puts them in the range for those who are now being rapidly vaccinated in the United Kingdom. Those citizens who are over the age of 80 along with those who are vulnerable and health workers have received their shots.
