Royal Family News – Queen Elizabeth Will Be At Windsor Castle
But the 95-year old regent, who became a widow in April, won’t be alone. It has just been announced that she will be joined on Christmas Day by her son and heir to the throne Prince Charles and his wife Camilla. It looks set to be a true family affair with her middle son Prince Andrew and his former wife, Sarah, Duchess of York, and their two daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie also visiting on the big day.
Reports indicate that her youngest son Edward and his wife Sophie, the Earl and Countess of Wessex, will drop by with their children, James, Viscount Severn, and Lady Louise.
Which leaves her only daughter Princess Anne the only one not in attendance.

Prince Charles and Camilla’s plans had been a mystery until this morning when it was announced they would join the queen. Last year they spent Christmas at their Highgrove estate.
A Clarence House spokesman made the news official saying, “The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall will be with Her Majesty The Queen on Christmas Day.”
The announcement comes on the heels of the unfortunate news that Anne’s husband has tested positive for Covid. The queen’s son-in-law Sir Timothy Laurence has contracted Covid and both he and Anne must remain in isolation.
