Sources have told the Daily Mail that friends of Charles admit the father/son relationship is, “strained to say the least.” Brits are notoriously low-key and self-effacing so we imagine that what the source really wanted to say was that Charles is p***** off into next year by Harry’s disrespect.
But the sources said that Charles is trying to focus on a solution to Harry’s rage, rather than concentrating on his verbal vengeance.
One source said, “The Prince of Wales knows he didn’t always succeed as a father, but he tried his absolute best.”

The source went on to say, “Harry has been hurting since he was a little boy. It’s not an easy situation. But Prince Charles would much rather his son be by his side. Of course, there is disappointment and sadness about the Oprah interview, and the relationship with Harry is strained to say the least.”
Charles is not your run-of-the-mill dad, he is the heir to the UK monarchy. As such he has considerations behind his role as a parent. Speaking to this reality the source said, “An ongoing battle with Harry and Meghan in California is not conducive … At the end of the day, above everything else, family always comes first.”
