British royal family news reveals that it turns out Prince Harry is good for something after all—an example of what not to be. According to one royal expert, the royal family have learned their lesson with His Hollywood Harryness and are now determined not to make the same mistakes with other spares.
According to Ingrid Seward, Prince Charles, “learned from the mistakes he made with Prince Harry,” and will not treat spares Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis the same way. To be fair though, Harry is a grown man and any asinineness on his part is wholly on him.

According to Seward, Prince Charles’ reign will entail, “much less royal experience,” for Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. And presumably, much less heartache down the line?
Prince George, seven, is the heir while his younger siblings are spares. Unless he walks away like Harry did or tragedy strikes, the sibs will be free to live somewhat normal lives.
Charles reportedly plans to overhaul the monarchy by cutting back on working royals with only heirs to the throne and their immediate families receiving financial support from the public and full titles.
Seward told Newsweek, “It is quite possible that (Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis) are not even going to be involved very much.”

She added, “When they’re growing up their grandfather will be on the throne for a bit and he’s talked about this slimmed-down monarchy. I think they will have to be given more freedom.”
She thinks that because Prince Charles is, “right in the firing line,” of Prince Harry’s public tantrums and tirades, he can, “see the mistakes he made.”
According to her, “Harry just did what he wanted basically. So did William up to a point. But I think that Charlotte and Louis will have a very much less royal existence.”

Royal Family News – Don’t Be Like Prince Harry
The rules for royal titles were laid down in 1917 by King George V. He allowed the title of Prince and Princess to be given to the children of the sovereign, the children of the sovereign’s sons and the eldest living son of the eldest son of the Prince of Wales, in this case, Prince George. This means that Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis received their titles as gifts of the Queen. Like his mother, Charles will have the power to alter royal rules as he sees fit.
