Royal Family News: Prince Charles Doesn’t Want Prince Andrew’s Daughters Involved In Monarchy

British royal family news reveals that Prince Charles reportedly wants to trim back the monarchy when he becomes king. How so? His alleged plan includes taking roles away from his disgraced brother’s daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie.

According to Kay there has been a, “sudden influx in PR the princesses seem to be getting.” His statement seems to indicate that the PR is meant to increase their public profile in a positive manner. If so, the spin could be about distancing themselves from their father’s spectacular fall from grace.

In February Andrew paid off a sexual abuse accuser who brought charges against him in a NYC courtroom. He denied any involvement yet paid a reported $10 million dollar out of court settlement. Since then his stock has dipped precipitously, although he had been in the doghouse for years.

Royal Family News – Andrew Is A Disgrace

Andrew caught flak for his friendship with convicted and dead pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Virginia Giuffre claimed she was a sex trafficking victim of Epstein and that Prince Andrew had sex with her three times when she was a minor. He denied the charges against him but chose to pay her off rather than face a court trial. Even before this he had been stripped of his royal role, titles and patronages. And last week he incurred yet another humiliation when the city of York demanded that he relinquish his title, Duke of York. The city wants nothing to do with him, and sees his name association as a taint on the town.

Royal Family News – Eugenie Is House Hunting?

It is against this sordid backdrop that the York sisters exist. It doesn’t help that Eugenie is bunking down in a borrowed royal house with her family, with Andrew reportedly wanting to give her yet another residence near Windsor Castle.

According to Kay, “I don’t think they will have a formal royal role at all,” he says of the York sisters.

“The Prince of Wales has made his plans for the future very clear, which is a slimmed-down royal family. Expanding it to include the York daughters to help the royal cause is unlikely to happen.”

“They will feature from time to time. It does seem they want to have a royal role, but they do have full-time lives out of royal duty.”
